Video Surveillance System

The City of Portage, Michigan, is seeking a vendor to provide and install a comprehensive IP-based video surveillance system. The agency needs to secure the designated building shown in the project plans while ensuring the system can easily expand to support other buildings attached to the data network. This project addresses the agency's need for modern, direct-connection IP security cameras integrated with their existing servers and storage located at the public schools administration building. The scope of work requires the vendor to provide and install all cameras at all specified locations, including the necessary patch cables at both the cameras and the communication rooms. The selected vendor must deliver new IP video cameras, their associated cabling, termination equipment, and complete video security labeling. Performance of this installation work will occur offsite, and the existing servers and storage will be online and ready at the time of installation. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and will accept bid responses digitally via email or online.
