The agency is seeking a contractor to provide effective, efficient, environmentally friendly, and professional custodial services at its government authority location in West Columbia, South Carolina. The selected provider must deliver these services with minimal interruption to daily operations while maintaining worker's compensation and general liability insurance for all janitorial laborers throughout the contract term. To ensure safety and professionalism, the agency requires the contractor to conduct random drug testing, arrange interviews, and submit background check information for proposed employees to agency supervisors prior to any campus assignment. The scope of work covers comprehensive employee support programs, including payroll, OSHA training, COVID-19 training, customer service training, and professionalism training. The agency requires seven-days-per-week access to a local contract administrator and a designated list of personnel authorized to resolve contract incidents. Additionally, the contractor must offer timely follow-up service to guarantee the satisfactory performance of all assigned personnel. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States, and all work must be performed onsite at the West Columbia campus. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
