Anger Management Program Services

The Kent County government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide anger management programming for sentenced felony offenders and individuals with delayed or deferred felony dispositions. The agency is trying to reduce aggressive and impulsive behavior, improve emotional regulation and interpersonal skills, increase participant accountability, and support long-term behavioral change and successful community supervision outcomes. The selected provider must utilize a structured, evidence-based or evidence-informed anger management curriculum designed specifically for justice-involved men and women. The scope of work requires a curriculum that addresses the beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and emotional responses associated with anger, aggression, impulsivity, and conflict. The program must incorporate strategies that promote personal accountability, emotional regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, stress management, and the development of prosocial coping skills. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested bidders. Proposals may be submitted digitally via email or through the online portal. The agency will host a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 11, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 17, 2026.
