Traffic Study Services

The City of New Philadelphia, Ohio, is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct a comprehensive traffic study. The study must examine the multimodal traffic operations and safety impacts of new residential and commercial developments in the downtown area. This project addresses the upcoming Joy Development Site, which will introduce several hundred new housing units and new commercial retail space to the corridor. The scope of work requires analyzing existing traffic patterns and operations within the designated area. The selected vendor must forecast future traffic levels for vehicular traffic, walking, and biking. Additionally, the study must provide recommendations to improve traffic operations along the corridor and enhance safety within and between all modes of travel. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency expects the vendor to perform all work offsite. The agency has not disclosed a set budget and is requesting pricing proposals from interested bidders to determine the project cost.
