RFI for Distribution Center Management Software

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking information regarding a web-based electronic distribution center management system. The agency requires a software solution capable of handling enterprise-level operations for customer order entry, customer order fulfillment, and receiving goods. The system must also facilitate moving goods between locations, lot control and tracking with reporting, Safety Data Sheets classifications, and task management including task interleaving. The requested scope of work covers cross docking, labor management, productivity tracking, monthly storage charging, and vendor performance tracking. Furthermore, the agency requires the software to support user queries, automated user notifications, comment entry, and role-based user access levels. A read-only customer-accessible catalog with pricing, pictures, and links to Safety Data Sheets must synchronize with the system product data outside of the order entry function. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to respond to this request. The agency expects the performance of the work to occur offsite. Interested parties may submit their responses digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine budget and feasibility.
