RFI for Intelligent Document Processing and Workflow Routing Solutions

The agency is transitioning from a mainframe-centric model to a cloud-first model to support workers' compensation business operations. This transition aims to build a new system of systems that allows the agency to introduce new capabilities and enhance existing ones more easily in the future. To achieve this, the agency requires information on intelligent document processing and intelligent business process management solutions. The scope of work covers two primary capabilities, starting with intelligent document processing. For this capability, the agency requires details on core functionality, differentiators, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, scalability, performance, and security features. The agency also requires the same detailed information regarding core functionality, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, scalability, performance, and security features for the intelligent business process management and workflow routing capability. In addition to the individual capabilities, the agency requires information on systems integration between the document processing and workflow routing solutions. This includes descriptions of supported application programming interfaces, integration approaches, and data import and export capabilities. The agency also requests typical implementation timelines, including a high-level Gantt chart, and migration strategies suitable for high-volume document environments. Eligible respondents must be onshore United States organizations. The agency expects the performance of the work to occur offsite.
