RFI for Image Sharing Solution

Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 is seeking information on an image sharing solution to streamline how the agency retrieves and manages clinical images from private sector providers. The agency is trying to eliminate manual, fax-based processes and phone calls currently used to track down patient results from community care providers. The system must conduct patient matching to link inbound data to existing patient records and automatically generate orders to obtain Veterans Affairs accession numbers. Additionally, the solution must handle electronic requests from community care providers, facilitate order generation and results retrieval, and allow the agency to conduct broadcast queries across private sector networks to locate prior images and reports. Bidders must perform all work onsite and must operate entirely onshore within the United States. The agency is accepting responses digitally via email or online submission.
