Network Maintenance Services

The City of Kamloops, British Columbia, requires a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive network maintenance services for its fibre-optic infrastructure. The agency is seeking to secure reliable fibre-optic maintenance, emergency repairs for damaged cables, and both fusion and approved temporary mechanical splicing. The selected partner must also handle fibre-optic installations, outside plant underground or aerial construction, and inside plant building entry, riser, and termination work. The scope of work further encompasses fibre termination, testing, certification, network extensions, and the creation of network rings. Additionally, the agency requires the contractor to coordinate closely with city staff, stakeholders, and third parties throughout the contract term. The agency is establishing this contract for a duration of one year, with performance of the work occurring offsite.
