Nurse Call System

The Pennsylvania-based government authority is seeking a vendor to provide and install a comprehensive nurse call system. The agency requires this system to improve communication and response times within its facility through a mix of hardware, software, and programming. The project covers the delivery and installation of four emergency call buttons, twenty-two bedside modules with speech capabilities, twenty-two single-button call cords, and thirty-six multi-section LED dome or zone lights. To support the system infrastructure, the agency requires one system server, one system rack, one UPS battery back-up, one station gateway, one network switch, and two VoIP touch-screen master stations. The selected vendor must also provide a lot of plenum-rated system cable along with all necessary labor and hardware to complete the installation. The scope of work includes installing the field devices and head-end equipment, as well as programming the entire system. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of the work to take place offsite, with the final contract period lasting for two years. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit or specific evaluation criteria in the initial announcement.
