The City of Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive transit vehicle surveillance system. The agency needs to support a mixed fleet of existing and newly installed onboard video surveillance equipment to ensure passenger safety and fleet security. To solve this, the selected contractor must remove and dispose of obsolete equipment, install new surveillance hardware, and integrate all systems with existing Safe Fleet NH16V2 systems, Nexus cloud services, and Commander video management software. The scope of work covers the installation and termination of all required cabling, connectors, mounting hardware, antennas, and related accessories. The agency requires the configuration, programming, testing, and commissioning of all onboard systems, including fifty-six rear exterior side cameras, twenty-eight rear-facing reverse cameras, and twenty-eight rear vision LCD monitors. All cameras must feature a minimum of five-megapixel resolution and support day and night operation with infrared capability. The project also requires integration with the onboard infotainment system to allow the display of live camera views on infotainment monitors. The system must support centralized management, configuration, health monitoring, video retrieval, evidence management, live streaming, and firmware updates. The vendor must coordinate with agency staff to minimize vehicle downtime during installation and provide training for staff on operation, diagnostics, and video retrieval procedures. Only onshore vendors located in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The selected contractor must perform all installation, configuration, and testing work onsite in Fargo, North Dakota.
