Physical Security Support System

The government authority located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking physical security systems support services on a task order basis. The agency needs to maintain its existing access control and video surveillance systems controlled by the software, which requires annual software and firmware maintenance. The agency is also trying to solve hardware maintenance issues by securing post-installation support for existing access control hardware deployed at physical access control points. The scope of work covers physical security system deployment services, including design, installation, configuration, acceptance testing, user training, and project management to expand or modernize access control, video surveillance, and other physical security systems. The agency requires necessary replacement devices, materials, and expertise to maintain credential reader hardware such as badge readers, electronic fob readers, pin pads, and vehicle tag readers. Additionally, the project covers camera hardware support to replace surveillance camera devices that fail or perform poorly. Bidders must be onshore organizations based only in the United States. The performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this contract, which will run for a period of one year.
