The Marin, California government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive onsite janitorial services. The agency requires regular cleaning of entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, offices, corridors, meeting rooms, common areas, stairways, elevators, coffee and lunch rooms, council chambers, holding cells, basements, storage rooms, and mechanical rooms. The selected provider must empty and clean all waste receptacles, utilizing mandatory daily liner replacements for washrooms and break areas, and separate liners for recyclables. The scope of work includes cleaning all furniture and equipment, such as televisions, telephones, credenzas, bookcases, desks, filing cabinets, tables, glass, and desk lamps. The agency mandates specific equipment standards, including the use of loop-end wet floor mops changed after each shift, untreated microfiber dry mops laundered regularly, and color-coded cleaning cloths laundered and dried after a single shift. Personnel must return any moved furniture and equipment to its correct location after cleaning operations. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget. Interested bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 16, 2026, and submit all questions no later than June 19, 2026.
