RFI for Independent Assessments for Medicaid Waivered Services

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in Boise, Idaho is seeking information to identify vendors capable of providing independent assessments for Medicaid waivered services. These assessments serve as the mandatory clinical gateway for Idahoans seeking specialized Medicaid services. The agency needs a third-party contractor to perform interviews and utilize standardized tools to determine if applicants meet specific level of care or diagnostic criteria. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to conduct diagnostic behavioral health assessments and utilize identified clinical tools. The contractor must evaluate mental health needs related to serious emotional disturbance, serious mental illness, and mental illness to determine the need for specialized services.
