Board Governance Consultant Services

The Missouri State Employees' Retirement System in Jefferson, Missouri is seeking a board governance consultant to provide specialized services to its Board of Trustees and staff. The agency needs to establish structured governance practices to ensure effective oversight, leadership evaluation, and trustee development. This initiative aims to solve the problem of maintaining up-to-date governance policies and objective performance evaluations for both the board and the executive director. The scope of work covers five distinct areas of governance support. The selected consultant will review and update the Board Governance Charter and Policy during the first year of engagement and every three years thereafter.
