Communications Consultation Services

First 5 San Mateo County is seeking communications consultation services to support the implementation of a strategic communications plan and implementation plan. The agency needs to update its website structure and content architecture to prioritize family pathways, making it easier for parents and caregivers to find age-specific guidance, services, and developmental supports. Additionally, the agency aims to leverage social media platforms as a resource gateway by sharing bite-sized guidance, visuals, and videos that direct families to trusted information on its website. The selected partner will develop and update a partner communications toolkit containing shared messaging, templates, and assets for partners and stakeholders. The scope also includes creating clear, accessible policy messaging and materials to support early childhood policy and systems change priorities. All project work must be performed offsite, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally either via email or through an online portal. The agency requires all questions regarding this opportunity to be submitted no later than June 3, 2026.
