AI Forge Program Service

The United States Department of Defense, through the AI Forge Program, is seeking to identify the artificial intelligence capabilities and research areas of domestic universities. The agency intends to conduct high-impact, fast-paced, university-led, fundamental artificial intelligence research aimed at solving critical national security challenges. This program targets universities that are aligned with and interested in accelerating next-generation artificial intelligence research to address these specific security issues. The scope of work requires the selected partner to provide AI Forge Program services. Performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed specific evaluation criteria or key dates in the initial solicitation.
