The selected provider will implement a twelve-month pilot program focused on document and content generation, which includes drafting, summarization, and editing of internal documents such as reports, memos, policies, and communications. The platform must also demonstrate the ability to expand and support additional capabilities identified through the City's use case intake process, including research, workflow automation, conversational assistants, data extraction, and public engagement support. The agency is trying to solve the problem of excessive time spent on manual document creation and administrative tasks. The solution must provide a centralized, secure environment that enables staff to access, analyze, and summarize large volumes of information from various sources simultaneously while maintaining compliance with data governance, privacy, and security requirements.
