Physical Security Support System

The government authority located in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide physical security systems support services on a task order basis. The authority needs to maintain its existing access control and video surveillance systems, which requires annual software and firmware maintenance to cover the current system deployment. To solve the problem of hardware wear and failure, the authority requires post-installation support for existing access control hardware, credential reader hardware, and surveillance camera devices. The scope of work covers physical security system deployment services, including design, installation, configuration, acceptance testing, user training, and project management to expand or modernize the systems. The selected vendor must provide necessary replacement devices, materials, and expertise to maintain badge readers, electronic fob readers, pin pads, vehicle tag readers, and failing surveillance cameras. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The contract period will span one year, and the authority is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 2, 2026.
