Design and Upgrade Jail Intercom System

The County is seeking a qualified vendor to design and upgrade the jail intercom system to a digital audio solution. The agency needs to replace its current analog system with a digital system that increases capabilities while retaining all current functionality. The new system must expand and adapt to future physical plant changes and equip each computer with new microphones featuring push-to-talk buttons. The project covers identifying the required technical infrastructure and providing detailed design drawings, as well as functional and technical specifications of the new digital system. The proposed solution must integrate with current inmate security software systems, including retaining the ability for Avigilon camera call ups interfaced to the current Wonderware system. Doorway alerts must auto-trigger camera callups in master control to enhance secure door operations. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite at the vendor's office location. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and requires an estimate of the total cost of ownership for a ten-year period to determine the total financial investment. All questions must be submitted no later than June 18, 2026.
