RFI for Distribution Center Management Software

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking information to identify a web-based electronic distribution center management system capable of supporting an enterprise of its scope and scale. The agency requires a solution to manage customer order entry, customer order fulfillment, and a read-only customer-accessible catalog containing pricing, pictures, and links to Safety Data Sheets. The system must synchronize catalog details with product data outside of the order entry system. The scope of work covers comprehensive warehouse operations, including receiving goods, moving goods between locations, lot control and tracking with reporting, and Safety Data Sheets classifications. The agency also requires capabilities for task management with task interleaving, cross docking, labor management, productivity tracking, monthly storage charging, and vendor performance monitoring. Additionally, the software must support user queries, automated user notifications, comment entry, and role-based user access levels. Eligible respondents must be onshore United States organizations. The agency expects the performance of the work to occur offsite. Respondents may submit their information digitally via email or online.
