Safety Information System Service Computer System

The Mine Safety and Health Administration is seeking an open-end service contract to support, maintain, and incrementally modernize its existing Safety Information System. The agency needs to transition the system toward a web-facing architecture while ensuring continuous operational stability. This project requires the design and implementation of a roadmap to migrate legacy functions to modern web-facing frameworks, utilizing the existing legacy system as the backend data engine during the incremental conversion. The scope of work covers the Safety Information System, which includes an application that collects data from mine operators and contractors via the internet. This collected information currently resides on a secure server located behind the incumbent vendor's firewall. The selected vendor must perform all work offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of the contract, and no specific budget limit or key dates are provided in the solicitation.
