Neuronavigation System

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide a neuronavigation system to support transcranial magnetic stimulation research and clinical applications. The system must import magnetic resonance scans of participant brains in both NIfTI and DICOM formats. It must also register these imported scans to the participant's anatomical landmarks using a handheld pointer or a similar registration device. The requested system must allow users to register one or more target stimulation locations, which consist of the desired coil position and orientation. Users must be able to specify these target locations by clicking on the desired anatomical image location or by entering coordinates. Additionally, the system must visualize both the position and orientation of the transcranial magnetic stimulation coil. The agency requires the system to receive transistor-transistor logic level digital inputs to record trigger signals from the transcranial magnetic stimulation system. It must record at least two channels of electromyography for motor evoked potential analysis. The system must also record the three-dimensional coil coordinates for each received digital trigger and use those coordinates as a stimulation target. The accompanying software must run on a local computer, must not be cloud-based, and must be compatible with either Windows or MacOS operating systems. Eligible bidders must perform the work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget. The agency is hosting a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on June 11, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 11, 2026. The resulting contract period will last for one year.
