Food and Retails Services Point of Sale Solution

The issuing agency is seeking a modern food and retail services Point of Sale (POS) solution to support the future of onboard food and retail service. This solution must support customer ordering, payment, kitchen coordination, retail operations, reporting, integrations, and related operational needs across vessel, terminal, and other operating environments. The agency requires a comprehensive package including all software, hardware, implementation, configuration, installation, integration, training, maintenance, support, and related professional services. The requested scope of work includes the ability to integrate kiosk ordering and expose menu and ordering APIs that support modifiers, combos, and availability. The system must provide real-time financial and operational reporting, support ad-hoc and custom reporting, and update estimated wait times across all channels using real-time Kitchen Display System data. Additionally, the agency requires that devices be manageable via endpoint management services such as Microsoft Intune or BigFix, and the solution must support role-based access control for cashiers to restrict gift card issuance, reloads, and refunds. Only Canadian organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The performance of the work can be conducted onsite or offsite, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. Bidders must submit a Notice of Intent no later than June 10, 2026, and all questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by June 15, 2026.
