Library Management System

The Board is seeking a library management system that orchestrates a unified workflow for circulation, collection development, and student discovery across hybrid media environments. The selected provider must deliver professional and associated services to successfully implement the proposed solution, including mapping, initial setup and configuration, integration, testing, and training of identified users. Upon successful implementation, the provider must deliver ongoing licensing, maintenance, and support services for the software for the five-year duration of the contract. The required system must feature quick check-in and check-out, simple navigation, browser-based access, data transfer capabilities, and automated overdue emails to parents or guardians. The agency also requires student data synchronization with auto-updates, streamlined cataloguing import, fast and flexible report generation, a clean and intuitive interface, and access from home for students and staff. Additionally, the software must support visual search with book covers, responsive technical support, training videos and manuals, and the ability to catalog books, eBooks, Chromebooks, robots, and makerspace kits. Eligibility is restricted to onshore Canadian organizations only, and the performance of the work will be offsite. Bidders must register and pay on the tendering authority's website to obtain the official request for proposals document without a watermark.
