Information Technology (IT) Management and Related Services

The Jackson Energy Authority in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive information technology management and related services. The agency is trying to reduce the risk of operational disruptions, prevent data loss, and increase compliance across its technology infrastructure. This initiative aims to secure the agency's systems through robust IT security and software solutions required for normal daily operations. The scope of work covers complete monitoring and management of networks, endpoints, Microsoft 365, and server operating systems, including patch and update management and all user moves, adds, and changes. The selected vendor must provide network infrastructure design, remote diagnostic capabilities for all desktop and server operating systems, and remote application or engineering support services. Additionally, the agency requires iPhone endpoint security featuring antivirus, endpoint encryption management, remote-wipe, and remote-tracking capabilities, alongside cloud-based email encryption services for all user mailboxes. The agency also requires ongoing analysis, project, and consultative services related to IT operations, information security, and agency business initiatives on an as-needed basis. The chosen provider must perform periodic security assessment services to maintain system integrity. The resulting contract will span a performance period of five years. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency allows the work to be performed either onsite in Jackson, Tennessee, or offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of these services.
