Cloud-Based Electronic Medical Records Software-as-a-Service Solution

The agency is seeking a cloud-based electronic medical records software-as-a-service solution to replace a system of processes and applications that currently lacks electronic medical records capabilities. This procurement addresses the need for management, access, and retention of client health records for the tuberculosis program, which handles approximately 6,500 client records per year. Each client record consists of correspondence with physicians, lab reports, nursing notes, and other documentation holding the client's relevant history. The project covers the implementation of a modern, integrated solution to support high-quality, client-centered care, data-driven decision-making, and seamless collaboration across public health and clinical partners. The scope of work includes providing centralized, secure access to client records at the point of service, supporting treatment and outreach with mobile and remote documentation capabilities, and enhancing surveillance, reporting, and analytics. The requested solution must also facilitate timely communication among multidisciplinary teams, reduce the need for secure physical storage, ease the discharge process, and ensure compliance with provincial and federal public health standards and privacy regulations. The agency limits eligibility to onshore Canadian organizations only. Performance of the work will take place offsite.
