EHR Privacy Monitoring Software

The issuing agency is seeking a proactive, analytics-driven electronic health record privacy monitoring software to enhance transparency, embed automated risk identification into workflows, and elevate HIPAA compliance maturity. The agency requires an automated, real-time Epic privacy monitoring solution that includes analytics, alerting, configurations, integrations, training, and ongoing support. This system must detect inappropriate access patterns, provide a centralized compliance dashboard with alerts and risk scoring, and reduce manual audit burdens. The scope of work covers automated real-time monitoring of all Epic access events and the detection of unauthorized or anomalous access using rules or machine learning. The selected vendor must provide updates for regulatory changes and EHR upgrades, perform system testing and validation using inappropriate access simulation, and deliver an Epic interface specification sheet alongside a monitoring dashboard. Performance of the work may occur either onsite or offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract will have a duration of three years.
