RFI for Community Development Technology solution

The agency is seeking information on community development technology solutions to better support permitting, planning and zoning, inspections, code enforcement, plan review, licensing, reporting, customer service, and related functions. The current community development environment relies on a combination of systems and tools, including TRAKiT, Bluebeam, Laserfiche, GIS-related tools, spreadsheets, email, and other departmental applications. The agency is exploring software solutions, implementation considerations, integration capabilities, customer portal functionality, mobile inspection tools, reporting capabilities, and opportunities to streamline workflows across departments. Eligible respondents must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to occur either onsite or offsite. Respondents must submit their digital responses via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposals that include budget details. The agency requires all questions regarding this request for information to be submitted no later than June 12, 2026. The evaluation of submissions will focus on how well the proposed technology solutions address the specified community development functions and integration needs.
