User Acceptance Testing Service

The agency is seeking a contractor to provide onsite user acceptance testing (UAT) reviews to support the development and maintenance of state information technology systems that determine eligibility for multiple benefit programs. The selected provider will perform application interface and integration testing, as well as functionality, usability, and design testing on the citizen portal. The scope of work also requires the contractor to create, update, and execute automated test scripts, maintain UAT regression script libraries, and log all discovered defects using the state's SpiraPlan and Jira systems. Implementation must occur during a three-month transitional phase prior to the end date of the incumbent vendor's contract. During this phase, the contractor must participate in all implementation activities provided by the state and the incumbent vendor utilizing a "tell, show, do" methodology. These transitional activities include reviewing the requirements and design structure, analyzing how business requirements and user stories are documented, reviewing existing system documentation, conducting a full handover of the automation tool and scripts, and reviewing processes for script maintenance and execution. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. While the initial UAT reviews require onsite presence, the performance of the core work will be offsite. The agency accepts digital submissions via email or online portal, and the budget is open for proposals.
