The National Aeronautics and Space Administration at Wallops Island, Virginia is seeking professional engineering services to support a multi-site supervisory control and data acquisition implementation. The agency requires a contractor to deliver engineering deliverables, hands-on configuration, and commissioning support using the Inductive Automation Ignition platform. The primary objective is to enable read-only monitoring, data logging, visualization, and data ingestion for select sites. The scope of work covers the creation of operator dashboards, trends, and basic alarming for specific use cases. The selected provider must implement databases on the hypervisor to track tags, historians, and bills of materials, while also enabling historian logging for Phase 1 tag sets to meet minimum retention requirements. The project also requires data warehouse integration, as well as command and control, writebacks, remote control, or setpoint changes. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of all work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposal pricing rather than providing a set budget. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted no later than June 2, 2026.
