Azure Virtual Desktop Cloud Solution Provider Subscription Migration and Managed Services- Budget - Up to 2,000,000 USD

The agency is seeking a vendor to migrate its Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment to a new Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) subscription and provide ongoing managed services. The project aims to transition the environment smoothly while maintaining service continuity, preserving data integrity, and minimizing operational disruption. Because the current AVD management platform is owned by the incumbent provider and will not transfer, the agency requires the vendor to deploy, configure, and operate their own enterprise AVD management platform or deliver an equivalent solution. The scope of work covers pre-migration assessment and planning, new subscription build-out, data migration, testing, validation, a pilot phase, cutover, and decommissioning. The vendor must also coordinate with the incumbent CSP and Microsoft during the transition. Ongoing managed services will span a two-year contract period and cover day-to-day operations, monitoring, image management, scaling automation, security, profile management, AVD management platform operations, and user support escalation for nine host pools, which include six production and three test or operational pools, along with all supporting infrastructure. Eligibility is restricted to onshore Canadian organizations only. The performance of all work will take place offsite. The agency has established a budget of up to 2,000,000 USD for this initiative. Bidders must submit all questions no later than June 10, 2026, and the final proposal deadline is June 17, 2026.
