The City of Austin is seeking a hosted, cloud-based enterprise resource planning solution to establish a unified platform for financial operations. This new system will replace fragmented legacy systems and eliminate manual workflows, such as external spreadsheet tracking, by managing all financial data within a single platform. The agency aims to improve usability for central and departmental users, strengthen budgetary and financial controls, enhance reporting and analytics, and support long-term operational sustainability. The scope of work covers a complete ERP solution that includes application software, implementation and project management services, data conversion, integrations, training, change management, and ongoing support and maintenance. The requested system must provide comprehensive core financial functionality, support best-practice public-sector business processes, and enable staff to export data in standard formats like Excel and CSV. Additionally, the solution must strengthen financial oversight and compliance through consistent processes, clear tracking of financial activity, and support for regulatory and grant requirements. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to define the cost. The procurement schedule includes a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 1, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 15, 2026.
