Traffic Forecasting and Transportation Engineering Services

The government authority located in Frederick, Maryland, requires professional traffic forecasting and transportation engineering services. The agency is seeking a qualified contractor to review traffic impact analyses, community roadway designs, and intersection and stopping sight distance analyses. The selected partner will also perform and review operational simulation analyses, as well as capacity analyses for intersections, interchanges, links, and corridors. The contractor must design and review work zone traffic control plans, conduct transportation simulation modeling, and perform travel volume forecasting. Additionally, the agency requires support with trail, bikeway, and sidewalk planning and design, trip generation studies, roundabout capacity analysis, and traffic signal system software such as Synchro. The agency is also asking for assessments of traffic mitigation and calming devices alongside design alternatives. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency expects the selected contractor to perform all work offsite. The agency is looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget for this project.
