Music and Performing Arts Program Service

The Bronx-based government authority is seeking a vendor to provide a music and performing arts program service for justice-involved youth. The agency needs to solve the challenge of engaging youth in secure detention, juvenile justice, correctional, residential treatment, and congregate care settings. The program must use music and performing arts as a platform for collective learning, creative expression, skill development, and fostering connections among youth, families, staff, and the community. The scope of work requires the design and implementation of a comprehensive program featuring high-quality, hands-on experiences led by professional artists and instructors. The requested activities cover songwriting, vocal performance, dance, digital music production, recording sessions, and live performances. The selected provider must integrate these educational, recreational, and pro-social components across in-school, afterschool, and community-based settings, while creating structured opportunities for youth to showcase their work through performances and family engagement events. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency requires the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. The contract period will span three years, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid meeting for June 12, 2026.
