Gateway Messaging and Public Art and Design Project Services

The Town of Woodstock is seeking a vendor to provide gateway messaging and public art and design project services. The municipality needs to develop a complete exterior design concept for its street tank to draw Interstate 81 travelers into the downtown area. This project aims to solve the lack of a prominent, welcoming visual marker by incorporating a brief, resonant gateway message on the tank structure. The scope of work requires the selected vendor to produce final design files in formats compatible with large-format exterior application. The chosen designer must attend coordination meetings with town staff and the tank maintenance contractor to confirm design feasibility and application logistics. The vendor must also provide minor design revisions as reasonably requested by the town prior to the final handoff. The town's maintenance contractor will execute the physical application of the designs, requiring the vendor to deliver files meeting specific production specifications provided upon selection. All specified coating products must be compatible with the maintenance contractor's existing coating system and receive written approval from the contractor prior to application. The performance of all design work will take place offsite. Eligibility for this opportunity is restricted to onshore United States organizations only.
