Aina-Based Art Education Programming Service

The State Foundation on Culture and the Arts in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a vendor to implement the aina-based Art in Public Places education program for Capitol Modern. This standards-based museum outreach initiative serves Department of Education public and charter school students in grades two through six. The program utilizes multidisciplinary arts education, using works from the Art in Public Places collection as a catalyst for learning. The selected vendor must conceptualize themes and strategies, monitor program quality, and implement changes to strengthen educational outcomes. Responsibilities include managing all school liaison duties, scheduling field trips to aina-based sites, and overseeing contracting, purchasing, and payment records. The agency also requires the design and distribution of informational, promotional, and educational materials, alongside the coordination of professional development and planning sessions for the teaching cohort. The agency is restricting eligibility to onshore, United States organizations only. The contracted work will be performed offsite over a one-year performance period. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than May 25, 2026, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
