Wayfinding and Interpretation Service

The National Transport Authority of Ireland is seeking a vendor to provide wayfinding, interpretative, and thematic elements across the midlands trail network. The agency requires the prototyping, fabrication, art working, and supply of these elements in a manner consistent with reference designs and programme milestones. This project aims to establish a cohesive, accessible, and durable signage system across the designated trail network. The scope of work covers prototyping, art working, and fabrication. The selected vendor must manufacture representative prototypes of a lectern, safety signage, a thematic experience blade, and a decision blade, as well as finish samples, to obtain contracting authority sign-off. Additionally, the agency requires the production of bilingual, accessible artwork conforming to agreed graphic principles, which includes securing font and image licenses and providing translation certification. Fabrication requirements specify the use of exterior-grade panels, anti-graffiti and UV-stable finishes, mild steel structures, and tamper-resistant fixings for all scheduled signage. The performance of this work will take place offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in Ireland.
