The City of Laguna Beach, California, is seeking a professional survey firm to provide survey services on an as-needed basis. The agency will assign projects to the selected firm via written task orders. The chosen firm must manage its field and office crews, schedule personnel to meet agency needs, and provide overall supervision. The selected firm must assume sole responsibility for the safety of its personnel. The agency requires the firm to maintain a quality assurance system for its own work and for any sub-consultants or sub-contractors. The firm must contract for and manage sub-consultants when needed, and track costs to specific task orders for invoicing. The scope of work includes assisting with utility mapping by providing maps in AutoCAD or other formats. The agency may also require the firm to provide information compatible with Geographic Information Systems. The firm will perform all work offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget.
