Geophysical Data Collection and Processing Service

The government authority located in Socorro, New Mexico, is seeking a vendor to provide geophysical data collection and processing services. The agency needs to design and implement survey approaches tailored to the hydrogeologic setting of each project area to optimize aquifer characterization. This initiative aims to solve the problem of acquiring precise subsurface data and translating it into compatible digital formats for advanced geological modeling. The scope of work covers collecting survey location information, including survey lines, soundings, stations, profiles, and other acquisition geometry in specified digital formats and coordinate reference systems. Within six months of data collection, the agency requires all raw and processed geophysical data, inversion products, and associated metadata meeting contract data standards. The requested deliverables include raw output data, readme files, GIS and Leapfrog compatible formats, high-resolution cross-section images in GeoTIFF and JPEG formats, and, where possible, SEGY formats for importation into 3D imaging software such as Kingdom and Petrel. Bidders must also provide comprehensive documentation of processing, inversion, quality control, and interpretation methods. Only onshore organizations based in the United States of America are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency expects the performance of the work to take place offsite.
