Digital Mapping Grant Services

The Maryland government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive digital school mapping services for designated schools within its jurisdiction, including public charter schools. This project aims to solve the need for uniform, standardized digital school mapping data that is accurate, GIS-compatible, and secure. The agency requires this data to support authorized stakeholders, including first responders, emergency management personnel, school safety officials, facilities management staff, and other designated school personnel during operations and emergencies. The scope of work covers on-site data collection, verification and validation of existing building information, and the creation of detailed digital floor plans, campus maps, and associated geospatial datasets. The selected vendor must perform all services in accordance with the school facility mapping grant requirements and the mapping standards established by the Interagency Commission on School Construction. The agency requires the vendor to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, software, project management, and related resources necessary to successfully complete the mapping services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency permits offsite performance for the execution of the contract work. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than May 21, 2026.
