Armed Security Guard Service

The agency is seeking professional armed security guard services to secure its government authority office located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The agency needs to solve the problem of maintaining safety and order for its office staff and clients during daily operations. The selected guard will be responsible for opening and closing the office daily, maintaining order in the lobby, and making regular rounds to ensure everything is in order. The scope of work covers daily services from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays and weekends unless authorized. The schedule includes two fifteen-minute breaks and one thirty-minute lunch break, and the agency provides door codes so security personnel can access the staff area and eat lunch in the kitchen. Bidders must ensure guards do not report to their positions in a combination of uniform and civilian clothing, with torn or frayed uniforms, or with hems out of trousers. The contractor must provide the guard with a gun and a security wand every day. Eligibility rules restrict this opportunity to onshore organizations based in the United States of America only. The performance of all work must take place onsite at the Baton Rouge facility. The contract period will run for one year.
