Downtown Parking District Security Services

The City of Medford, Oregon, is seeking a contractor to provide professional security services for its downtown parking district. The agency needs to secure its downtown parking facilities, which include parking structures and surface lots. The selected contractor must also provide intermittent security coverage for all other city-owned surface parking lots located within the downtown parking district boundary. The scope of work requires three weekdays of coverage per week, not to exceed twenty-four hours per week, with services generally occurring between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The agency requires these service days to rotate to maintain unpredictability. The contractor must also maintain a twenty-four-seven management on-call contact to handle staffing and urgent issue responses. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. All security staff must meet Oregon state requirements for private security, and any armed personnel must possess proper certification and licensing for armed duties. If armed services are provided, the contractor must carry insurance coverage that explicitly covers armed security services.
