Uniformed Unarmed Security Officer Service

The Wake County Sheriff's Office in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking uniformed unarmed security officer services to support a comprehensive security plan during construction activities. The agency must prevent any interaction between the male Construction Apprenticeship Program inmate labor force and the female inmates housed at the facility during the construction period. Security officers must obtain and possess identification cards prior to starting work, and they will not require chemical suits. The selected vendor must provide a dedicated Contract Manager who is available twenty-four hours a day throughout the contract term to oversee performance, manage scheduling, and handle complaints. The scope of work will be performed offsite for a contract period of one year. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is seeking budget proposals from bidders to determine the cost of the services. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 12, 2026.
