The Santa Clara County government authority in San Jose, California is seeking a vendor to provide and install a new closed-circuit television system. The agency needs to replace and upgrade its current surveillance infrastructure while maintaining operational continuity. The new hardware and software must be programmed and operated in the exact same manner as the existing equipment to ensure a seamless transition for operators. The scope of work requires the installation of a system consisting of fifty-six cameras connected primarily via coaxial cabling, with fiber-optic cabling utilized for long-distance transmission. The selected vendor must install new structured cabling, including CAT6 and fiber-optic infrastructure, and integrate twenty-three existing cameras into the new servers. The project also involves handling the existing video streams currently recorded on a Pelco video management system, as well as managing the cameras, video recorders, and abandoned cables. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires all performance of the work to take place onsite at the San Jose facility. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget for this project. The agency will host a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference on June 11, 2026, to address preliminary inquiries. Bidders must submit all clarification questions no later than June 17, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the submitted bids to select the vendor for the one-year contract.
