IP Based Intercom System

The government authority located in Laredo, Texas, requires a turnkey, IP-based intercom system to enhance inmate and staff communication, door control integration, paging, and emergency notification. This project addresses the need for a modern, IP-capable intercom system integrated with the facility's network, access control, closed-circuit television, and emergency systems. The selected system must comply with applicable state standards and best practices for correctional communications infrastructure. The scope of work covers the design, supply, installation, integration, configuration, testing, training, and support of the IP intercom system. Required hardware includes IP intercom master stations, IP substations or intercom stations, door entry and door release interfaces, and paging amplifiers and speakers. The software and integration scope demands centralized management software, integration with existing or planned access control, and integration with closed-circuit television and recording systems.
