Building Security and Law Enforcement Services

The Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves is seeking a vendor to provide building security and law enforcement services at its government authority facilities in Galveston, Texas. The agency requires these services to secure its premises, manage access points, and maintain law enforcement coverage across various shifts. The selected vendor must perform all work onsite at the designated Galveston locations. The scope of work covers multiple specific security roles and shifts to ensure continuous coverage. The agency requires one guard supervisor working forty hours per week with varying shift times, and a front gate guard stationed Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1800. Additionally, the project requires a control center guard operating twenty-four hours daily, seven days a week. The agency also requires two roving guards, with one working Monday through Friday from 0545 to 1345, and the other working Monday through Friday from 1000 to 1800. A seasonal weekend guard is needed on Saturdays and Sundays from 0800 to 1600 between November 1st and December 15th. Finally, the agency requires a special events guard to work eight hours daily during scheduled special events. The contract period will run for one year. Eligibility is restricted to onshore vendors located within the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost of the contract.
