Thermal Security Validation Stickers Supply

The Rhode Island government authority is seeking a vendor to supply registration receipt forms with thermal transfer printable retroreflective stickers, printers, and associated performance testing and support services. The authority requires these pre-printed forms with tipped retroreflective stickers, containing customer-verifiable directional security marks, to serve as instruments of vehicle registration and other validation types. The goal is to obtain secure, counterfeit-proof validation stickers that can be detached from a thermal transfer printable surface and placed directly onto vehicle license plates. The scope of work covers retroreflective stickers manufactured from a special enclosed lens sheeting with an integral, directional security mark visible only at a specific viewing position. These stickers must consist of lens elements enclosed within a transparent resin, feature a single adhesive layer, and possess a smooth, weather-resistant surface receptive to a Validation Printing Matched Component Printing System. The selected vendor must perform all work offsite and provide technical data and performance history demonstrating that the proposed materials, equipment, and services have successfully supported license plate validation sticker programs for a sovereign state. Eligibility is restricted to onshore vendors located within the United States. The authority is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this procurement. The resulting contract will run for a period of one year.
