Physical Security System Support Services

The Norfolk, Virginia government authority is seeking physical security system support services to maintain, modernize, and expand its existing physical security systems. The agency requires a combination of hardware and software to perform video surveillance and maintain physical access security. The current infrastructure consists of Genetec platform software, including Genetec Omnicast video surveillance system software and Genetec Synergis access control system software, installed on nineteen servers across production and test environments. The scope of work covers twenty-five Eizo and Axis brand decoders and streamers used by security personnel for live camera monitoring. The project also encompasses twelve roll-up overhead door monitoring sensors and ten vehicle entry and exit gates with gate operator integrations. Additionally, the agency requires support for twenty-seven existing door intercoms and master stations configured with two-way audio and one-way video. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The selected contractor will perform all work offsite. The agency is requesting budget proposals for a contract period of one year. The agency will host a pre-proposal conference on May 29, 2026.
