The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in Newport, Oregon requires the modernization and installation of an integrated electronic security and control system for the county jail. The agency is trying to solve the problem of aging security infrastructure while maintaining continuous, safe, and stable operations within an occupied correctional facility. The scope of work covers door controls, operator interfaces, intercom systems, and video integrations across multiple housing units and control points. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. Although the system will be installed at the jail in Newport, the agency indicates that performance of the work will be offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. The agency has scheduled a mandatory pre-site visit for June 4, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than May 24, 2026. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the bidder's ability to ensure system availability and stability during the transition.
