RFI for Radio Access Network System

The City of Gaithersburg, Maryland, is seeking a complete, functional end-to-end Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) 5G system. The agency needs to integrate this new system with its existing 3GPP-compliant 5G core. The required system must consist of an Open Radio Unit, an Open Distributed Unit, an Open Centralized Unit, and the supporting hardware platforms. The agency is requesting that the selected vendor perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office location. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a specific funding limit.
